OUR ROLE: A team from Hi Tech Partners served as an advisory board to assist the founder/CEO and his team in crystallizing the company's vision and building a winning strategy in the fast-paced world of wireless technologies. We also helped AIRSAGE to form partnerships with industry leaders such as Air2Web, Powertel, and Ericsson.ALG is a leader in the burgeoning enterprise performance optimization marketplace. ALG today serves 750 global organizations from operations in Manchester in the United Kingdom, Atlanta in the United States and Paris in France. OUR ROLE: A Hi Tech Partner serves as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors, consultant and advisor to the CEO. We helped craft new corporate strategies to expand beyond the activity based management niche into the emerging enterprise performance optimization market. Hi Tech Partners has also been a catalyst for streamlining management processes, speeding decision-making, upgrading staff, growing revenues, and enhancing corporate profitability.An early stage Ophthalmic Pharmaceutical company. ALIMERA SCIENCES’ expertise
is focused on eye conditions which can be treated with prescription pharmaceuticals,
over the counter (OTC) medications and other eye treatments.
OUR ROLE: One of the Hi Tech Partners served on ALIMERA’S
original Board of Directors and Chaired the Audit Committee of the
Board. Early on Hi Tech Partner’S Board member encouraged the
management team to “form” the business and provided advice
on how that should be done. ALIMERA SCIENCES subsequently closed on a
$27 million dollar “A” round of equity financing in the
summer of 2005 which was at the time the largest first round of venture
funding for a start-up company in the State of Georgia.
EARLY, now CMHC is a growing business addressing the emerging technological needs of the behavioral healthcare market with best of breed clinical management software. The company’s product line automates all aspects of the clinical process for healthcare organizations including behavioral health hospitals, community mental health agencies, family services agencies, and alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs. The company was recently sold to CMHC SYSTEMS.
OUR ROLE: Hi Tech Partners coached EARLY senior management on a variety of issues. We helped with re-evaluation of the software development process. We worked with the CEO and the lead investor to develop the company's near term operations strategy and to refine the strategic vision resulting in the successful sale to CMHC.ENTEGREAT is a manufacturing consulting and systems integration company serving process-based Fortune 500 manufacturing companies in the life sciences, pulp and paper, foods, brewing, and chemicals market segments. The company is focused on helping clients implement supply chain and manufacturing systems that deliver measurable business value.

OUR ROLE: A Hi Tech Partner CEO Partner is currently serving on the board
as the Lead Independent Director, and Chairs the Audit Committee of the
board. He has assisted in the four latest private placement funding rounds
totaling in excess of one hundred fifty million dollars.

MARSHAL SOFTWARE products help protect against threats to network and information security, workplace liability issues, unnecessary bandwidth consumption and unproductive activity associated with uncontrolled use of the Internet.
OUR ROLE: A member of Hi Tech Partners acted as the Interim CEO/President of MARSHAL SOFTWARE USA and launched US Operations for this New Zealand based email and web content filtering software company. He managed growth from 2 active resellers and $10,000 per month in sales to 130+ resellers and $455,000 in monthly revenue. The company was sold to publicly traded NetIQ and Hi Tech Partners supported the transition of MARSHAL'S Operations into NetIQ.

PESTPATROL was sold to COMPUTER ASSOCIATES in August 2004, and Hi Tech Partner’s developed the transition plan for the existing PESTPATROL reseller channel.

PTEK (now Premiere Global Services) is NYSE listed network of communications and technology companies comprised of both wholly owned operating units and partial ownership in more than 15 early stage, new economy companies. PTEK Ventures was the firm's early stage investment arm.
OUR ROLE: Hi Tech Partners served as advisors to PTEK Ventures and their
early stage companies. We assisted a software development team to build
production quality software on-time and on-budget. We worked with an early
stage company CEO in downsizing the company, reducing the burn rate, restructuring
the debt, improving the sales process, and transforming a services business
into a software products business.

We developed a new strategy and revenue model then led the technology transition to a hosted provider of electronic marketing solutions, and hired our replacement to run repositioned operations. Hi Tech Partners continues to advise the President of this successful business on strategic matters.
SOPHOS is the leading anti-virus software products company in Europe and one of the largest in the world. This fast-growing, privately held company is headquartered in the United Kingdom, and has a global network of distributors with sales and support in 120 countries.
OUR ROLE: Hi Tech Partners assisted as strategic advisor to the UK and US executive teams. We helped to develop and launch strategic partnership programs and channel sales operations. We also developed the North American business plan and supported the launch of US operations.
